John Robinson - Loveland Ohio

 

John and Marsha Robinson were born and raised in the Cincinnati area. Harvest Pointe Christian Church feels like home to them – not because of the geography of their roots, but because of the warm acceptance of the people.

John’s undergraduate and graduate work has been at the Cincinnati Christian University. Prior to Harvest Pointe Christian Church

John had four successful ministries. John also taught and preached on mission fields in the Dominican Republic, Cambodia, and Thailand. John enjoys college basketball (as in UK), science fiction (like Star Wars), and walking mountain trails, among other things.

Marsha graduated from Ball State University and teaches second grade at Lebanon Christian School.

David, John’s older son graduated from the University of Kentucky with two degrees: accounting and finance. He now works for Cincinnati Steel Products.

Tim, John’s younger son attends the University of Cincinnati’s OMI College of Applied Science. He is in an electrical engineering technologies degree program and co-ops at Cincinnati Electronics. David and Tim are both active at Harvest Pointe Christian Church.

“The Church is all about people (you). Jesus said He came to seek and save lost people. All of us (including you and me) sinned and thus were separated from God, lost from Him. Jesus died on the cross because it was the only way to pay the penalty for our sin. That’s how special and precious you are to Jesus. Then He set up the Church to spread the good news that there is a way to escape the consequences of our sins. We call that way of escape God’s Plan of Salvation. So people (you) are special and precious to us. People (you) are why we exist. Why not come out and get to know us better?”
