You might have already heard but Harvest Pointe Christian Church in Goshen Ohio is going to two services!  God is moving in a big way at Harvest Pointe Christian Church.  Since moving into our building the church has been blessed with dedicated people stepping up and doing whatever it takes.  Most importantly God has blessed us by bringing in people to connect with our current church family.  This growth has caused us to start planning for two services.  On October 5th the two services will begin.  Both worship services will be identical.

1st Service: 9:30a.m.

Nursery: birth to 4years old

2nd Service: 11:00a.m.

Nursery: birth to 4yrs old

Children's programming: K to 5th Grade

Wow!! God has blessed Harvest Pointe Christian Church tremendously over the years.  This year is no exception.  As most of you know we are in the new building and a lot of work is happening.  The Leadership made some exciting new annoucements last week.  We will be celebrating our 6th birthday and hold our Grand Opening on October 5th. We will also have an Open House for the ccommunity on October 4th from 11am to 2pm.  The facility will be open to everyone in the community and there will be FREE food and drinks.  The grills will be fired up and ready to serve.  We will also have a giant slide and a inflatable obstacle course for the kids. 

Many of you have already seen Harvest Pointe's sermons on the Cable access channels.  During the next couple of months you will begin to see commercials for HPCC on various cable television channels.  Use this time to tell your friends and family about Harvest Pointe Christian Church.  We will be providing you with many ways to invite them to our Open House and Grand Opening on Oct 4th and 5th. 

To support our recent and future growth, beginning Oct 5th we will have two services.  The 1st and 2nd services will provide a nursery while the 2nd service will have full children's programming.  Our new children's programming is exciting.  Not only are we providing your children with innovative Biblically based learning on Sunday, we are providing each family with material (multimedia, refrigerator cards, and etc) to allow the parents to reienforce what they are learning Sunday morning throughtout the week.  We are excited to partner with the parents and build up children that will honor our Savior into their adult life. 

Our A.C.T. (Action! Community Team) will leap into action real soon.  If you are interested in serving people in the community let someone on the leadership know. 

Lastly, on October 5th our new small group ministry will also be launched.  This will be a great opportunity for people to connect and dig deeper.

What a great way to celebrate the start of our new Children's program. Rachael came forward and accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior on Sunday August 3, 2008. Congratulations Rachael. We know your family is extremely proud.

CJ and Ami were married on July 26th in Springfield Illinois.  It was a very beautiful wedding and you could tell how happy CJ and Ami were to finally be united.  Check out some pictures of the wedding here.
