We are putting together Christmas stockings for the young men at Teen Challenge again this year. This is an exciting way to help these men as they continue their life journey in Christ. If you would like to help please sign-up at Harvest Pointe Christian church. We are hoping to have enough stockings for 30 young men. We are collecting items such as: shaving creme, disposable razors, socks, soap, deodorant and much more.
You can help make a difference in these young men's lives!
Harvest Pointe's new Small Groups will be kicking off the first week in October and we have some great lessons planned out. The first four lessons are focused on the new Vision for Harvest Pointe. On Sunday August 31, 2008 Joey accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized. Caitlin and Jenna were honored to perform the baptism. We will all be praying for her to grow in her relationship with Christ. PRAISE GOD!!!
What GREAT NEWS!! Lilly came forward on Sunday Auguest 24th 2008 to give her life to Christ. We could see how proud Lilly's family was of her and the decision that she made. She was baptized by Tyler Murphy at Vic and Rosa's pool. Check back soon for pictures of the baptism. PRAISE GOD!!!!!
Harvest Pointe Christian Church welcomes Gina Sievers to the Harvest Pointe Family. Gina came forward with Judy Spurlock on August 17, 2008 to join our family. What an exciting time as we grow not only together but we grow with new friends and family. Please pray for Gina and her family as we help her grow closer to Christ and the family of Harvest Pointe.
The church Leadership has been working hard over the past several months. As God has moved Harvest Pointe forward we have identified the need to develop a new flight plan. Part of this flight plan is God's Vision for His church at Harvest Pointe Christian Church. The Leadership has prayfully considered why God has put us in Clermont County and in the World. As you will see from Harvest Pointe's new Vision Statement we are entering an exciting new Era. We are setting goals that will stretch each and everyone of us and as a result can only be achieved with God's blessing. Below you find the top tier of the new Vision Statement:
