The only requirement to become a member of Harvest Pointe Christian Church is to have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and have been baptized by immersion. The acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior is just another way of saying you are a Christian. To become a Christian you must follow the Plan of Salvation as outlined in the Bible. The Bible says we must believe, repent, confess, and be baptized. The primary way to become a member of Harvest Pointe Christian Church is to go up front during the invitation time that usually follows the sermon. John Robinson will ask you to repeat after him by saying something similar to: “I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God and my personal Lord and Savior.” If you have not been baptized by immersion, John will arrange a time for your baptism. If you are not comfortable about coming forward, we can also talk with you in private.
