Harvest Pointe Christian Church takes the Bible very seriously.  Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Go and make disciples of all nations”.  God has blessed Harvest Pointe Christian Church OH.  We have and will continue to share these blessing with others in United States and around the world.  Currently we support three ministries. 

!NEW! Harvest Pointe has developed a non-profit organization called Blessings for Haiti.   This organization will raise money to help build homes in Haiti.  So far the organization has raised enough funds to build three homes in Haiti.  We are working directly with Lifeline Christian Mission.

 

We began supporting the Recycled Riches fund because we have a desire to support other churches and increase the ability to carry out the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20).  Recycled Riches provides Interest-free loans to help new churches get into their first buildings are already a reality that can be greatly expanded through the Recycled Riches Fund. An interest-free loan does seem too good to be true, but such loans are being made. Recycled Riches is about congregations which have been blessed, helping congregations which have needs. When needs are supplied to churches, they can begin to help others.

 

In concert with our vision of making a difference in the community and being a church that is supporting the development of sister churches we have added Horizon Christian Church to our Missions budget.  Horizon Christian Church is a new church plant in Highland Heights KY.  Joel Young is the lead minister at Horizon Christian Church.  The church is very much in the same position that Harvest Pointe Christian Church was six years ago.  God has continued to bless us and we felt priviledged to share some of those blessings with Horzion.

Harvest Pointe is serious about making a difference in the world.  We began supporting PIONEERS several years ago.  PIONEERS is reaching nearly 6000 different groups of people worldwide that not only don't know the Lord; they don't have anyone who can tell them about Him and His gift.  Today PIONEERS has approximately 65 teams in 45 different countries. No one can really understand PIONEERS without understanding their concept of team.  They send teams to countries not just people.  This team-centric concept is a critical part of their success.  They believe that teamwork is biblical and practical. 
  

We support the Christian Restoration Association (CRA) directly.  The CRA is dedicated to helping churches teach the salvation of the world by the preaching of the gospel.  We decided to support the CRA due to their long-standing reputation (since 1922) of helping establish new churches and providing assistance to existing churches that are struggling.  The CRA has provided support in numerous ways: Leadership training seminars, financially supporting struggling congregations, sending out missionaries, and much more. 

We also support Teen Challenge of Cincinnati.  Teen Challenge is responsible for helping thousands of young men gain control over their addictions through the power of Jesus Christ.  The congregation made the decision to support Teen Challenge after serving meals to the men and their families during a Teen Challenge family night celebration.  Upon meeting the staff and the men in the program, we found a strong urge to provide support.  Teen Challenge also has a long and successful history in permanently changing the lives of young men. 

The last ministry that we support is Woodland Lakes Christian Camp.  Woodland Lakes is in the business of helping kids know and grow in Christ.  Woodland Lakes Christian Camp has provided a great Christian camp for many of our children over the years.  Our children and many others have left their summer camping experience changed and seeking a more permanent and lasting relationship with Christ.
