Harvest Pointe Christian Church is made up of people from many different social backgrounds. The one thing we all have in common is the love for Jesus Christ, our community, and each other. Every person that has visited Harvest Pointe Christian Church talks about how they felt “at home and loved” during their first visit. Harvest Pointe Christian Church OH is an independent Christian Church, part of the Christian Churches, Church of Christ, and other restoration movement churches. This means that our church is not governed by an official organization but by the members of the local church and the Holy Spirit. We believe and teach that the Bible is the infallible word of God and is the foundation that the church is built on.
How did we get here? ![]() Harvest Pointe Christian Church started much like Jesus did, in a small but humbling location on October 6, 2002. The first service was held in a small pole barn at the home of Harry Snyder. The Church started with nine families. Each dedicated to telling families and the community about Jesus Christ and how He can change their life. The first service included an invitation to sign a life size cross. This signing signified each family’s commitment to the church but most importantly to Jesus Christ. The cross is present at each service held at Harvest Pointe Christian Church and the names serve as a reminder of the sacrifices that were and are still being made to glorify God. As the weather got colder so did the barn. Heaters were used for a while but the Steering committee was eagerly looking for a more permanent solution. Harvest Pointe Christian Church OH meet for two weeks in the home of Vic and Rosa Miller. The Steering Committee made a very aggressive plan to locate, rent and begin services in a permanent location within a month. God provided an unexpected place. On November 10, 2002, we started meeting at the Teen Challenge Ranch in Milford, OH.
