The most significant thing about me is that I am saved by God’s grace!  Raised in a Christian family, I’ve been blessed to know about my Creator from an early age.  My parents were the most influential people in my life, teaching me about God’s grace, His Word and the importance of taking part in the Body of Christ.  In March 1984, I was baptized into Christ during a revival at the First Church of Christ in Logan, Ohio. 

Of second greatest importance to me is my relationship with my family.  Tiffany became the biggest blessing in my life in 1992, and in March 1994, we married.  At the time, I was attending Cincinnati Christian University while she attended the University of Cincinnati pursuing her degree in fashion design.  In July 2000, she gave birth to our first child, Lydia.  Fourteen months later, Luke was born, the followed Priscilla and Phoebe in 2008.  Tiffany is actively involved in our children’s lives as she homeschools the kids and does a wonderful job managing the household.  She is also actively involved in Classical Conversations, a national homeschool organization, as a support manager and campus director. 

Most of my ministry experience has been part time, except for a full time youth ministry position at Highview Christian Church in Cincinnati in 1998-2000.  I’ve held positions as part time, fill-in and interim preaching minister in churches in Ohio and Indiana.  Throughout the past several years, I have worked in the pest control industry.  In 1994, I left Orkin Exterminating, starting my own pest control business, of which I still own and employ two other pest control operators. 

After meeting with the Harvest Pointe Christian Church leadership in November 2011, discussing the possibility of becoming HPCC’s minister, the leadership asked me to return in December to preach.  After preaching a couple Sundays, we met again to conclude our discussion.  I look forward to growing with HPCC as we strive to accomplish God’s will in Harvest Pointe’s surrounding communities.
